The Rushbury Pig
My Blog: APRIL/MAY - Kune Kune, Middle Whites and Piglets Galore !
Here are my two new Middle White breeding gilts that came from near Blackpool; a long drive but worth it! They travelled
very well which was a relief as I don't think Steve would have been amused if they had starting being sick in the back of the car!!
I
had warned the neighboiurs they may hear squealing like someone was being murdered in the garden at some time close to midnight but
they were spookily quiet when we got home - unlike most of the journey!!
Bred by Tracey Bretherton, who very kindly selected
them for me, here are my gorgeous Middle White Modiste and Yootha gilts:

Esme and her litter of 11 piglets born on 1st march 2011.
Esme likes to feed outside, even when it's cold and wet!
Thankfully
for her piglets it's been warm and sunny most of the time
Emily is pictured here with her piglets just a few days old(born 21st March 2011) - she prefers the warmth of her bedroom to
feed in. Her and Esme rarely saw things the same way though so no surprise there!
Other new arrivals are Rosie and Alice. Rosie is an In-Pig Kune Kune breeding sow who is gorgeous! Her companion is the beautiful
Alice who is my new breeding Kune Kune gilt. Thanks again to Wendy Scudamore of Bartonhill Kune Kunes
