AVAILABILITY:

 

The availability and quantity of our pork and bacon products will vary from year to year being guided by when our litters of weaners arrive and how long they take to fatten - there's no rushing them!

 

It is now essential that our customers order in advance wherever possible so that I can keep back the right number of home bred weaners to match to orders. Due a large rise in all the costs associated with keeping pigs I have unfortunately had to raise my prices.

 

WHOLE PIGS - £6 per kg; Pre -ordering required with a £40 deposit.

HALF PIGS - £6.50 per kg; Pre-ordering required with a £20 deposit

SAUSAGES - £6.50 per kg; £6 per kg for an order of 5kg or more

PORK AND APPLE BURGERS - £6.50 per bag(10 burgers or 1.1 kg in weight) or £6 per bag for an order of 5 bags or more

 

The pigs are home bred pedigree free range Berkshire or Middle White pigs and a whole pig will be between 25kg and 40kg in weight when butchered. Kune Kune pork and sausages will be available in 2012 too but not as half and whole pigs.

WHOLE/HALF PIG :

 

You will get:

  • Large Boneless Shoulder Joint – 1 per half pig 
  • Approximately 18 Loin chops – per half pig, these chops will be Rib chops and T-bone chops. T-bone chops include the fillet which you could cut out yourself to provide fillets.
  • Belly Spare ribs or Belly Slices/Rustic Belly. You need to specify which on your order form.  
  • Large Boneless Leg joint – 1 per half; You may wish to have this joint with the bone or prefer pork steaks, please specify this on your order. 
  • Other Joints/cuts – as decided by Will and Terry for individual pigs. 
You will also be offered the liver, kidney and trotters free of charge - please state if you would like these on your order form.
 

SAUSAGES:

 

Premium Sausage:

 

Only quality cuts of pork are used and blended with the finest herbs, spices and salt and good quality rusk as a binder . Approximately 85% pork.

 

Low Salt and Gluten Free Sausage:

 

The same quality cuts of pork with salt and pepper added as seasoning. Approximately 1g of salt per 100g of sausage.

 

PORK AND APPLE BURGERS:

 4 oz Pork and Apple Burgers (sold in bags of 10 burgers or 1.13kg in weight)
